Most of the experience was excellent but felt like the original pick up experience was too pushy in trying to upsell us to spend money on things we didn't need. They know we've just landed from a long flight and are experiencing jet lag and it feels like they are trying to take advantage of you in that moment. Maybe that's just they're job but that part wasn't pleasant.

I had to take the car to a car wash immediately after picking it up, because it was dirty on the exterior. Interior was dusty but mostly ok. Other than that, it was a good car and pick up and drop off were very convenient.

After traveling a long way with our 1 and 9 year old we were so happy to arrive and get our car. There was no one at the budget rental counter for us to pick up our reservation. 20 minutes go by and someone finally shows up. I was informed insurance was mandatory which was not mentioned in the booking process. Then there was a $1500 hold on top of that placed on my account as a deposit. I was also not made aware of that and it should be standard to mention both of those things during the booking process. The woman at the counter instructed us to go wait outside for her coworker to get us. It is hot and we had so much to carry including the baby. We waited another 20 minutes outside until I decided to go back in and ask the woman where her coworker was. She called him and said he was outside so I went out and no one was there. I went back inside she called him again and then he found me. The car had much wear and tear the price was ok but felt like a lot for a car with close to 80,000 miles. The return was easy but we were instructed to call a number given to us 15 minutes before we arrived. Never experienced that before. Overall I give my experience a low rating BUT that is due to the customer service. Not the car itself

They changed my drop off location without telling me. And it cost me an extra day of rental. The CEO Joe Ferraro seems to be avoiding my emails.

The location was a bit obscure. The staff was friendly and had it not been for their helpfulness my husband and I would not have made it in time to pick up the vehicle. Hertz NEEDS to correct it on their website. If you don’t then I’ll have to assume you DON’T care enough about customer satisfaction nor your employees because I expect they are constantly dealing with clients who are lost or need assistance getting to the location. Otherwise, the vehicle was a smooth ride, clean and ample space for long distance travel. Thank you!

Drop-off was super easy. They let us use their lot to leave our car.

Cons:

They could have ensured the car they were giving had been properly cleaned. We received a car that had a plummet of cigarette smoke and with my wife having asthma that was hazardous.

Didnt mention the additional 200 dollar required deposit. Had to open an escalated ticket to get the refund. The guy at the desk was no help at all.

Cons:

The vehicle was so loud, I had to turn the radio's volume as high as it would go to hear it. I traveled for 12 hours in that state. It was an extremely unpleasant trip! I am now unsure if I should use Hertz in the future!

Pros:

I worry about details and whether my wife will be happy with the vehicle. The manager, Eva Garza was so helpful and had that great spirit that made the whole experience a joy. Eva is a great communicator and made the rental contract process quick and easy to understand. The vehicle was clean and wonderful. We prefer to rent with Avis as we have always had an excellent experiences in the past. The Avis location was excellent for us as well. I will recommend to all of my friends renting from Eva Garza at this Avis location. I took a bunch of her cards, too.

Cons:

Nothing. The experience could not have been better.
