The woman at Marrakech pick up location was nice, professional, and clear. The man at Tangier drop off location was nice, professional and clear but he charged us for cleaning the vehicle which should have been included in price.

Absolutely awful. I pre-paid for this car rental and when I arrived to the Payless counter, I was told that no cars were available! Calling Payless customer service was useless. They said that the best they could do is to process a refund... how was that going to help? I was stuck at Indianapolis Airport with no means of getting to my final destination. I will never rent with Payless again.

as a negative, there was a delay when we were picking up the car, because the staff on duty was insufficient to handle the influx of new renters at that peak time of the day as a negative, i did not know i needed to have details of my personal auto insurance rental policy, in order to decline their insurance - since i was unprepared in that way, i had to pick up the extra insurance, and that greatly increased the effective insurance as a positive, i had a scratch appear on the car (i am not sure how or when) and a small dent in the body (front cornerpanel near hood), and they told me it was considered minor, and there would be not charge or insurance claim - they could have played "hardball" and charged me for it, but they showed moderation and good faith

First, they are NOT located at Tampa airport. I was waiting 45 minutes for their shuttle with 6 other people. When we got they they literally had NO cars at all! NOT A SINGLE CAR AT ALL!! I cancelled and I'm currently seeking a refund. I ended up getting a rental from Enterprise, located WITHIN Tampa airport. It was quick and easy and professional. I WILL NEVER RENT A CAR THROUGH KAYAK, PRICELINE, OR EASIRENT!!!

Nice people and car, but not very businesslike. Would have liked a printed receipt before I left. I still don't have a receipt >24 hours later, even via email, I turned the keys in to the man on duty at 4:30 yesterday and someone called me today to ask where the keys were.

I loved the car loved the easy pick up and return of the rental car. The airport made it very self explanatory to get the car back with white letters on the road to direct you back to the rental car return. Made me smile. I had to extend my rental due to not finishing the work I came down for and the company made it very easy to extend.

Provided a reliable, clean vehicle. paperless transaction and very quick process for pick up. only snag was that i was renting during holiday season and my original return date fell on a holiday when the local branch was closed. i tried to arrange a return to the Enterprise at Jacksonville Intl Airport ahead of time with Johnny but that seemed to have been overlooked and did not appear on my booking details. I returned the car to the local branch using the key drop off though and it turned out ok.

The price changed on me when i got to my destination. The bill at the destination was about 15% more than they told me it would be, and the representative was unable to explain why. Also the dropoff was very confusing—it was in a mall parking lot, difficult me to figure out what to do where to go.

No information or help for directions at the airport. Went to pick-up. Signs only says returns and baggage.

Let people know where to pick-up and park until you get the rental. And have someone in the booth that can tell you. Only Spanish speaking parking attendants that had no idea but to leave car in garage without a parking spot. And had to pay to exit the parking garage. Then they interpreted by phone

The advertised price had hidden fees. I paid 285 for the car for one week. When I dropped it off, I was hit with 86 dollars of all sorts of random taxes. The car was dropped with full tank of gas. They should advertise the price to including this and why only charge it at dropoff?

Drop off was great but pick up awful and we ended up with electric vehicle which I didn't mind but no instructions on charging and didn't have adapter for tesla charger. Also the center console was locked with pin # we weren't given and couldn't get a hold of anyone who could help us.

Upon picking the car up, we needed to switch the card and driver on file. They cancelled the reservation and made a new one, but messed up the drop off location. We got to the drop off location and were told to call Hertz, even though we were standing right there at Hertz. The person on the phone said we would have to call the original location to get the issue fixed but in order to leave we had to pay for their clerical error.

I made a reservation. They called to cancel it and said they didn't know why the computer allowed me to make a reservation. Sounds like an internal problem that a customer does not need to know about. Will avoid Hertz. They also tend to have people arrested because Hertz's computer system tells them a car is stolen when it's been returned and paid for. Bad business Hertz. You should do better.

Cons:

No one felt the need to share with me that I couldn't rent with my Visa debit. I get to the airport to pick up my rental just to be told you have to use a major credit card. I was told I am sorry and there is nothing I could do the day of my trip. I reserved the vehicle in February and was disappointed and embarrassed in July. Never again.

We ended up having a screw in our tire. The lady on the phone was wonderful. She advised us to go to the enterprise car rental in Brunswick Georgia. The workers there were amazing. They had us to the tire place in minutes. The tire place changed the tire for us after enterprise guy talked to him. All took under an hour. Very impressive!😊

Being Scammed for fuel is not a good experience especially from a brand such as Sixt. I rented a car with a supposed full tank. the Car is a small Car and that can hardly burn more than 5/6 litres per 100km. After I drove 130 KM and returned the car, I had to fill in 15.3 liters . this only means one thing, the car was not full. the second car I rented and that I am still driving, shows 670km autonomy and a small red band at the fuel level indicator. Again NOT Full. I have no idea what games are being played at this location with Fuel, but it looks like a Scam to me. SIXT Better ACT

We felt fortunate to get our rental. There were only two agents working, by the time our delayed fight arrived, and the customer lines were very long. We were relieved to get a car, despite the fact that many customers did not. The customer service agent was very friendly and helpful.

The “midsize suv” was a tiny Corolla Cross which is a crossover economy platform not an SUV of any kind. And it was expensive and the pick up area at JFK is torn up badly!

I was able to choose the exact car I wanted and was even able to reserve a cooler and boogie board to use for the week. The car was in like-new condition. The free shuttle was convenient, fast and the drivers were nice. The location was a little bit further from the airport, but it wasn't a problem.

It was the first time we rented via Turo, so I don't have a good base reference to compare in general, and can only compare to car rental experiences with commercial fleets (like Budget or Enterprise). In general it was okay -- we made it to where we were going and back, with no major issues. It's doable. However, there were some "surprises" where things didn't quite got as we expected: * We made rental reservation with expectation that we're picking up at the airport. When we got there, it turned out that the car is not at the airport, and the address given to us turned out to be what seemed to be Portland's airport Fire Rescue Tower (where, obviously, we can't even walk to or be at). We called the owner, and turned out that the car is at some house that's "not far" from the airport, and gave us new address. So additional expense of taking Uber/Lyft to get to the car (and apparently that address exists in two neighboring towns, and somehow Uber/Lyft took us first to the wrong one, so we had to take another ride, but that's not a Turo issue, just more expense as a consequence of car not being at the airport as promised). * When we got there, we called the owner to get the keys: "-- Keys are under front door's floormat. -- Nope, they're not there. -- Then try mailbox? -- Yes, they're there." The owner wasn't there, which is okay to do this all remote, but would be nicer if owner was in general "on top of things" such as where the car is and where it is expected to be picked up, where exactly are its keys, etc. * Then owner requested that prior to return we take the car to be washed and cleaned inside and out. We neither planned on looking for car detailing places in Portland, nor for time that it would take away from sightseeing, nor for extra substantial expense it would be. We pushed back and the owner backed off saying that he'll let it go due to confusion with pickup location (and apparently he didn't send some email that he was supposed to send, or something along those lines). * And while the car wasn't too dirty, it wasn't clean to begin with (which made detailing request that more amusingly odd). Crumbs on floor and seats and luggage compartment. Worst part was that windshield was dirty on the inside that was minor unpleasant at daytime, but as driving progressed into night time, it was quite significant as it was blurring lights and affected visibility substantially. * We also added additional driver thru Turo and let the owner know. The owner requested that we send him picture of drivers license directly to him. We refused (as it didn't seem right, given that Turo is the one that manages that aspect) and he backed off. * Of course, additional expense of Uber/Lyft after return drop-off as we weren't dropping it off at the airport as originally planned. So all in all we probably spent additional $50-60 in Uber/Lyft for getting to and from cars location instead of it being in the airport, and lost about 3+ hours for dealing with additional unplanned travel. The rest was okay. Car drove fine and didn't give any problems.
