I was expecting a Ford Edge, recieved a Ford Explorer. While upgrades are nice, the difference in gas milage was significant. We drove from St Louis to Yellowstone National Park and back. Also the car was not ready at our scheduled time so we had to wait for the car to be cleaned, about 20 min. While not Budgets fault, I did not like the dail shift control or the information screen in the explorer. The drop-off was quick easy and hassle free, but we were not given a receipt. As an experienced traveler, I knew that the receipt would be e-mailed to me, but my wife was upset that I could not tell her how much the car rental had cost at drop off.

Easy pick up and drop off. Surprised the vehicle did not have a car wash before we got it, but not a big deal. Also not sure it had even been gone through because there was some small garbage on the floor in back seat area. First time in mini van and was surprised how nice the ride was.

The woman at Marrakech pick up location was nice, professional, and clear. The man at Tangier drop off location was nice, professional and clear but he charged us for cleaning the vehicle which should have been included in price.

When I went to pickup my car, I had to wait ~1 hour to speak with someone at the desk. The agent I spoke to at the desk lied to me and said that I cannot use my personal auto insurance and had to use their plan. I call their corporate number later and the confirmed that agent was incorrect and refunded my money spent on the insurance. The car they had reserved for me was stuck behind several cars on the lot and inaccessible. Because of this they tried to give me another vehicle in the same class. The replacement they picked had visible damage/dent to the multiple panels, doors, and bumper. I started documenting all the damage in detail and taking pictures, the agent started getting visibly annoyed. He ended up providing me with a different car in the end. When I came time to drop off the vehicle, the lot nearly full and there was a line extending into the street just to enter the lot. I'm still waiting to deposit to be returned and I anticipating that I will need to call their corporate office again. This was an extremely poor experience through and through. I will never rent from Mexrentacar ever again, and I will never recommend their services to anyone.

I had nothing but electrical problems with vehicle. Sixt asked me to take car to mechanics. Key Fob would not work and we were locked out of our car and had to take a taxi home. Next day road side assistance could not get into the car because doors were locked so locksmith had to be called and I had to pay for taxi and locksmith. Called sixt many many times in 3 days, was told would be getting a significant refund and they only paid for 3 days rental. Worst experience ever. Customer Service was the worst, made promises they didn’t keep and we even upgraded to a bigger vehicle and paid in total $3500 Canadian dollars for 6 weeks and had nothing but issues. I would rate them a negative 20.

It took awhile for the shuttle bus to get to the airport for pickup. My insurance provides coverage for rental cars. Unknown to me, they require a copy of my insurance policy to 'verify' that I have that coverage, or else I have to buy their insurance coverage. My flight was delayed and I got to their facility about 8pm. She said I was supposed to have picked up my car by noon and would 'have to see if they still have a car available and if they could verify that my original rental fees were still available". They decided to let me have the car. It is dark outside and they have the black vehicle out in a dark area where I am supposed to inspect it for any damage. I brought the card back in to her where I marked that I didn't see any obvious damage, but trying to see any surface scratches or scrubs was impossible. She said, 'you didn't write the mileage down''. I said the rental agency normally does that. I went back out and got the mileage. At this point I was frustrated and really needed to get on the road as I had a 1.5 hour drive to get where I had to go and be up for a very early meeting. I have never gotten a rental that didn't have a full tank of gas, EVER. About 10 minutes down the road it started to rain and I was trying to figure out the wipers. I then noticed it only had a 1/2 tank of gas!! When I got back I mentioned this to the lady behind the counter. She said it was my problem because I was supposed to inspect the car before taking it. Lesson learned when dealing with Surprice!!

They are a cut rate car rental company that operates and feel like a scam. Address is wrong, phone number is wrong, office is a pop up. They demand a HUGE deposit that is never mentioned in the prior rental agreement and claim to need 20-30 DAYS to return it. Everything is hand written on paper and it all just feels off.

The car was fine. Pickup/dropoff was a pain due to the off-airport location in a strange area. High pressure and extortionate fees (250€ per 2cm scratch) to encourage purchase of their "insurance". The insurance if purchased would have more than doubled the rental fee.

pick up was really slow. Multiple staff behind counter but only one serving customers. There was a complication with a customer ahead of me and despite the queue growing none of the other staff opened their desks. Dropped car off to a closed office in the evening and was very disappointed to get a charge for a scratch to the car which i do not believe i caused. I have raised a complaint but very little confidence in a positive outcome. I do not plan to use Goldcar again

They didn’t have a car reserved for me on arrival, and tried to charge a walk up rate. In the end, I lost the prepaid portion of my rental, sat in the coffee shop opposite and booked online with Avis (for cheaper than what they wanted to charge me). Really disappointed.

Super friendly, helpful and efficient staff. No unnecessary hassle. The main drawback is that the office is a few kilometers away from the airport, but they make up for that by a operating a free high-frequency shuttle between terminal 3 and the office.

At first I was shocked that I have to give 1400 euros in deposit if I used my credit card insurance. It’s something I’m not used to. Their insurance at 29euros/day looks a little bit steep, but it really is a question-free insurance. Despite that, the price was so low on the rental itself that it did put it to same level to other agencies without any insurance. The car was top notch and the service was perfect.

Terrible experience. When we arrived to pick up the car they wanted 200 euros more for a one way drop off fee. I had read the contract carefully and nowhere did it say we would be charged for this. The rental company was unable to show it to us; they just insisted it was their policy. We left and rented from enterprise and they were wonderful. No hidden fees. Will never book with Centauro again.

Collection at airport was ok but we had to wait for the collection person as they had misunderstood our arrival time. We also had quite an old Audi A3 which was in good condition but had quite an old CD player and radio setup and no mod cons. Comfy though and staff were helpful and efficient.

Terrible experience. Waited at the port for 30 minutes to be picked up and driven into to town to get my car. Was supposed to get my car at the port and go on about my day. The car was dirty, smelly, and out of gas. So bad I had to return shortly after pick up and rent another vehicle through hertz. I’ve requested a refund that I’m sure I’ll never see. If you need to rent a car in Naxos, do it through a regular rental company like Avis, hertz, or budget.

They lost our reservation, didn’t give us the car we reserved (we reserved a four door midsize, we got a two door two seat mini). The car had multiple scratches all over it, and only 1/3 of a tank of a gas. Stay away.

Pleased with Avance car rental experience. Pick up and drop off at Athens airport was straightforward. We received a low mileage Renault Cleo which performed well. Big enough to haul 3 adults and carry ons, yet small enough to navigate the roads and parking in Greece. Prices this year in Greece seem high everywhere, yet felt we received fair value from the pricing we received from Kayak/Avance. Would use them again.

Words cannot express the sheer level of disappointment and frustration I experienced while dealing with "Right Cars" Car Rental. This company is a prime example of how NOT to conduct business, and I strongly urge anyone considering renting from them to think twice and avoid this nightmare at all costs. Let me start by saying that "Right Cars" has absolutely no regard for their customers' well-being or financial security. When I arrived at their rental office, ready to pick up my supposedly affordable 50 euros car, I was greeted with an outrageous demand: a whopping 650 euros as a deposit. Are they out of their minds? It's beyond comprehension how they can justify such an exorbitant amount for a car that is worth a fraction of that deposit. As if their greed wasn't enough, "Right Cars" shamelessly refused to refund or provide any reasonable alternatives. Instead, they presented me with an ultimatum: pay an additional 80 euros for insurance or fork over a mind-boggling 500 euros as a deposit for a vehicle that should be barely worth the initial rental cost. This level of exploitation and disregard for customer satisfaction is simply disgraceful. It's clear that "Right Cars" Car Rental thrives on taking advantage of unsuspecting customers. Their outrageous deposit requirements and unwillingness to accommodate reasonable requests are not only unethical but also bordering on fraudulent practices. I cannot stress enough how important it is to steer clear of this company if you value your hard-earned money and want to avoid unnecessary stress and disappointment. In conclusion, "Right Cars" Car Rental is an absolute disaster of a company. They epitomize everything that is wrong with the car rental industry. Save yourself the headache, frustration, and financial burden by choosing a reputable car rental company that actually values its customers. "Right Cars" is simply not worth the time, money, or peace of mind you'll undoubtedly lose by dealing with them.

I rented a car two days -- it was supposed to be ready at 9am and when I showed up at 2pm to pick it up I had to wait 45 min until I made other plans and had to cancel the rental with Avis. 10 people working in that office and being told every 5 minutes "it's coming" - it is just unacceptable! Never again.

I reserved a car which can hold specific number of passengers (8) Kayak reservation was clearly stated number of passengers 8 but Avis rep said Kayak made a mistake and I need to pay an additional$99 euros for this 4 day rental over and above the agreement. Even if there is discrepancy Avis should pick this up with Kayak and not put a gun on customer's head when he/she has no other choice. Additionally car has multiple scratches and dents, over all renting a car in 3rd. World countries is always risky and unpredictable.

We were given a new car with a broken cigarette lighter port. As a consequence about 1/2 hour into our trip the gps lost power and we spent 3 hours lost in the suberbs of Athens lost

Pros:

The customer service was excellent, and they even give you free coffee from a fancy Illy machine while you wait.

Cons:

The wait while they pulled up the car was a little long (about 15 minutes). The office on Siggrou is a little tricky to access since you have to drive up onto the sidewalk and then out into oncoming traffic. The car was pretty touchy and it would stick between gears, but I suppose that is what I get for renting the cheapest option.

Overall very good experience, great value, only negatives were they tried to soft upsell the car and coverage but weren’t forceful when I declined. At pick up the car had dings and missing spare tire (and no personnel around when you get the car, you just walk to it from the terminal) but they did not try to charge us for it upon return. Would rent there again.

We were given instructions where to meet the representative..nobody was there. Called the office many times but English option not working. Spoke with Airport info desk who called Volta and was told rep may be in different area...after 40 mins found rep over 100m from arranged meeting point with his Volta welcome card facing down on his luggage trolley. Staff at check in desk monosyllabic both at pick up and drop off

Friendly and kind staff, explaining everything efficiently and in detail. organised pick up from the airport. Amazing value for money. Car was spotless and in great condition. Just note we had to wait a bit for the van to arrive to get us to the airport when we arrived at 6:00 am in the morning, so please leave some buffer for a possible 10-15 min delay.

Very disappointed. The person wasn’t at the airport when we arrived at 8am, we waited until 9am before having to pay for another car. During that time we called & emailed. Someone finally got back to us to say that they were there, but they didn’t attempt to contact us at all during the time. I have emailed for a refund and am still awaiting a reply.

Car was very comfortable, clean , more than enough power, pick up was sooo easy, drop off a little disappointing as there were no persons on the counter and we really wanted to know about the deposit return. In the end we had to drop the key and run for our boarding, but was sorted very easy next day by phone call.

Samir provided an excellent customer service and made my experience pleasant and smooth. He deserves all praise and commendations. I think it’s time for Addcar to invest in a kiosk inside the terminal and provide this amazing experience to the other passenger that only pick up from rentals within the terminal.

It was an absolutely terrible experience. The person I dealt with when picking up was so rude and unprofessional. I was shocked at the additional expenses and how I felt forced into an insurance that seemed like a scam. There were multiple additional expenses that were not explained to me and the woman seemed to think I was foolish for asking for an explanation. I was so nervous about returning the vehicle that I cut my vacation short by an extra day just to get the vehicle back early in case they were difficult again to deal with. So I had to pay $150 for a hotel just to get the vehicle returned early. When I did go to the dropoff, there was another person having the exact same difficult time with staff. It was so wildly upsetting to watch this man struggling with this horrid customer service as well. I will never use this service again and I will attempt to warn others about this experience.

Staff were kind though they didn’t seem to have an information needed to answer questions related to insurance and cost. No shuttle service was available from the airport and no one was Available to answer the phone, other travelers helped us figure out how to get to the pick up location 3km from the airport. The $2000 hold/charge to our bank account was a huge surprise and it took over 2 hours to get the car at pick up due to them being understaffed and having a lot of confused costumers.

The initial car had very worn tires, so they gave us a free upgrade. The pickup of car was a little slow (waited 20 min for them to get to airport and had to deal with car change), but I've had worse with larger on-airport car rentals. Make sure that you have the number to call when getting to the airport so they know you've arrived.

Shady business. They wanted us to text a pic of where we are at the airport and said they'll send a minivan with different business logo to pick us up. Took 40 mins for the car to arrive. Upon the car arrival we were informed that they don't accept tesla insurance and we need to purchase really expensive insurance from them. We just ended up renting different car from one of legit companies at the airport instead of taking a risk to deal with this people.

I'll never go back to them. All well-known rental car companies typically ask who your insurance company is and you tell them and thats that. In my case Travelllers. This was not enough. They wanted proof, so I called my insurance company and they emailed me my insurance card. This was still not enough either, they wanted the declarations page, so I called again and had that e-mailed which worked. Super inconvenient and the guy behind the counter had the personality of a brick, his English was poor, spoke so fast one could not understand what he was saying and he did not really care about making the experience a pleasant one. I overheard the clients at the counter next to me mention the words, Mickey Mouse company, so I was not the only one disapproving of renting here. Car was ok for the money and clean enough. I wanted to extend and called both numbers on their contract. all 4 times I tried I was placed on hold, and the call was dropped within 5 seconds of being placed on hold, as if it was intentional. So I emailed and asked if an extension was possible at the same rate I had of $15.00 per day. They came back with $50.00 per day and I decided to return the car. I guess that's their prerogative but I chose to return the car and be done with them rather than extend. I'll never use these guys again and the impression I got was that they did not care about future happy clients at all
