$292 Find cheap flights from Tokyo to San Jose

The jet bridge electricity was out. We were boarding in the dark. No air-conditioning and it was extremely hot. Every person that came out of that jet bridge into the aircraft was profusely sweating. Truthfully, sitting in first class, it was no Hawaiian hospitality. Just a bunch of senior flight attendants are doing their routine over and over.

The in flight speakers little touches of humor were entertaining.

The flight left and arrived on time. the only food offered on the 5+ hour flight was a cheese sandwich. Unlike Alaska Airlines there was no information on the website regarding food at all or any option to purchasse in advance. Otherwise, it was an excellent flight.

Flight was comfortable. The attendants did a great job. I’ve flown on several flights with Hawaiian. No complaints. Suggestion: The egg salad sandwiches seem to be a standard on most flights. I see a lot of them being returned or refused. Seems like a waste. I think Ham & Cheese would be more acceptable.

We were not given the seats we reserved. But helpful attendant at gate gave us very nice seats.

The flight was very smooth and comfortable. The entire flight crew was very professional and provided excellent service. Thank you.

The flight was cold. The entire time, the food was nothing more than a cheese hot pocket. They wanted to sell everything else midway during the flight. They said that we were landing in a half hour and then added that we had to return to Honolulu, but gave no reason why. I was so scared I was crying. I didn’t know until we landed that it was because of an unruly passenger that we had to turn around. The crew was very cold about it, and we had to wait in the airport where they gave us snacks, which was nothing more than a bag of pretzels and a fruit juice

It was great with the exception of a rude desk member on the way back. And a terrible sandwich on the way back.

My tray was broken and instead of being moved I was provided blue tape.

Comfortable seats and lucky no one was in middle seat. No water on the plane. Plane was on time and staff was fast.

You get what you pay for and nothing more. Wanted a cheap flight and that’s exactly what I got, though it’s human nature to wanting to feel like you got a good deal as well. There was none of that here. I was cheap and they were too. Got to my destination safely and that’s all that really matters.

Nice service. I wish it could provide hot water on the flight.

Flight was seamless. Free wifi helped pass the time. Food was okay, just make sure you pre order or pick something up from the airport

Internet connection very poor, means you can not even order items through their own shop.

Paid for business class lay flat seat. Significantly less comfortable than other carriers. No built in entertainment or WiFi. I barely saw flight attendants at all and they wanted to charge me for a bottle of water if i wanted more than what came with the meal (that i also paid extra for). Essentially you’re just paying for a slightly more comfortable seat than the rest of the plane and nothing else

Een prijsvechter, dus dat moet je ook verwachten. Voor alles moet je betalen. We hebben vooraf een maaltijd en een amenitiesset besteld. Die kregen we netjes uitgereikt aan boord. Het is BYOD voor het amusement tijdens de vlucht en dit werkte uitstekend. Geen trage wifi, helemaal niet. Alles kost geld, zelfs een flesje water. Misschien op langere vluchten wel gratis water, thee, koffie. Maar daarentegen mag je na de security je lege drinkflessen gewoon vullen en mee aan boord nemen

Wifi could have been better. Arrived 55 mins earlier than scheduled :)

Best part are two crying babies throughout the whole 11 hour trip

My husband and I pre-ordered our food, but they did not have my husband’s order, and my cheese plate was very average. I asked for a blanket and was told they don’t carry blankets on domestic routs. The flight was on time and smooth!

There were delays on both ends. It made it less than excellent. This plane was great though

Attendants were rude. Scowling. Seats were miserable and we paid extra.

The food has never improved. It will never improve. But when I'm boarding a flight in priority boarding and I've spent 10 hours inside the security area of the airport and I get "randomly" selected for additional screening as I board the plane when the flight has already been delayed, and I work as a military contractor that has been issued visas direct from JMOD, I find it ridiculous. I would never recommend anyone to use AA on international flights. JAL is a better airline with older planes. The flight attendants on international hauls on American also have a chip on their shoulder and really dont deliver the same level of service code share partners do.

Somehow I got “offloaded” even though I had my boarding pass and was in transit Food is horrible Staff were nice and cheerful No headphones were provided on 11 hours flight

Fight crew was not very attentive and the bastions were gross!

Transfer from Terminal 1 to Terminal 3 by bus is chaotic, because as per information Free Shuttle Bus was supposed to take passengers from Domestic Terminal 1 to International Terminal 3, but the bus took us from Terminal 1 to terminal 2, then to Terminal 1 ,, 2 and finally to Terminal 3

Our flight was great we left Kona earlier and got into LAX almost an 1hour earlier as well. LAX AA is in repair so to get out and found our bus to get pick up was a bit confusing.

Plane was good but was delayed. probably not AA fault but caused a 1 hour delay. Seating was cramped.
