The jet bridge electricity was out. We were boarding in the dark. No air-conditioning and it was extremely hot. Every person that came out of that jet bridge into the aircraft was profusely sweating. Truthfully, sitting in first class, it was no Hawaiian hospitality. Just a bunch of senior flight attendants are doing their routine over and over.

The in flight speakers little touches of humor were entertaining.
The flight left and arrived on time. the only food offered on the 5+ hour flight was a cheese sandwich. Unlike Alaska Airlines there was no information on the website regarding food at all or any option to purchasse in advance. Otherwise, it was an excellent flight.
Flight was comfortable. The attendants did a great job. I’ve flown on several flights with Hawaiian. No complaints. Suggestion: The egg salad sandwiches seem to be a standard on most flights. I see a lot of them being returned or refused. Seems like a waste. I think Ham & Cheese would be more acceptable.
We were not given the seats we reserved. But helpful attendant at gate gave us very nice seats.
The flight was very smooth and comfortable. The entire flight crew was very professional and provided excellent service. Thank you.
The flight was cold. The entire time, the food was nothing more than a cheese hot pocket. They wanted to sell everything else midway during the flight. They said that we were landing in a half hour and then added that we had to return to Honolulu, but gave no reason why. I was so scared I was crying. I didn’t know until we landed that it was because of an unruly passenger that we had to turn around. The crew was very cold about it, and we had to wait in the airport where they gave us snacks, which was nothing more than a bag of pretzels and a fruit juice
It was great with the exception of a rude desk member on the way back. And a terrible sandwich on the way back.
