The people who worked for Alaska Airlines, both on the ground at O'Hare and during the flight, made it remarkable for me. Their customer service is incredible; they're kind of like the Nordstrom of the sky.
Thw crew was excellent but due to poor scheduling Alaska Airlines routed our flight to LAX then LAX to Seattle. This delayed our arrival at the airport by at least 5 hrs and really inconvenienced us in many ways...
We loved the extra legroom on the flight and the fact that we didn’t have any one beside us.Everything was a n time and satisfactory.
I booked flight for my son. He had an epilepsy episode while in line boarding the plane. No refund. WTF? Never again book with Kayak.
The queue before check-in was long and slow moving due to too few desks being open. THEN, WHEN WE FINALLY REACHED THE CHECK-IN DESK WE WERE CHARGED US$70 FOR 2 BAGS. What rubbed salt into the wound was the incredible number of large bags in people’s “carry on”.
I was unfortunately placed in the middle seat. Very, Very cramped.
Flight was on time, boarding was efficient, and crew was pleasant. It would have been a nice feature to have the seatback tvs as this was a cross country flight, but entertainment is not a requirement.
