The lady who helped was very nice. The car type I rented was not available and ready upon arrival, but she was able to provide a comp upgrade for the inconvenience.

Cons:

Pretty long want times to actually get the car, but the agent was by herself do all she could and keeping me up to date, so I gave her the benefit of the doubt.

They did not have a car available in the class I selected. They charged me the upgrade difference for something that I did not have because they did not have cars. She blamed on me arriving early, but I was only 45 minutes early because our flight arrived early.

You rented me a truck they did not have. I needed a truck bed to move a couch. I has to scramble and waste time to get a replacement. I spent more time and money, all because I relied on your reservation. Had I not, I could have easily gotten another truck.

I liked the friendliness of the rental agent; I do believe his name was Michael. The questions I asked, he was able to answer. Michael was very knowledgeable. I knew I would be dropping off the car early in the morning, and I needed to know what to do. He told me about the inside drop box for the keys, and not to give them to anyone who may approach me. My rental was clean and gassed up...nice SUV. I had no trouble with the vehicle, which lets me know it was well-maintained. In fact, the trailer where Budget is located, is clean, too. I had an enjoyable rental experience, and I would recommend Budget to my friends.

Easy airport access, fast check out with prepaid rental agreement. Fast check in when car was returned, both people were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Didn't know about all the toll roads in Orange County, wasn't sure how to pay them without toll booths anywhere- had to call Alamo and ask about them as we had already followed our GPS on the phones and used them multiple times that first day- would have preferred to know about them before hand.

I have never waited so long to pick up a car with a reservation already made. The location is either under staffed or they are just so slow. One customer representative specifically and aggressively trying to get costumers to pay more, to upgrade to expensive cars, pay for fast lane, add insurance. He is using fear tactics and it slows down the line highly.

They refused my credit card saying it was debit. Indigo although a crappy card is only a credit card. Coachella was going on and I think they just wanted to rent it for more since I planned ahead. Stay away from these guys.

Getting to the Midway rental office from the airport is a bit confusing and poorly marked/explained. You take an airport bus from the arrivals to a parking lot down road from the airport, and then the rental car companies routinely come by and use vans/large SUVs to bring people from that parking lot to their specific rental location. The check out line was long and slow (about 35-40 mins of waiting), but once I got to counter it was smooth and it took 5-10 minutes to get the paperwork filled out. Returning car was fast and easy.

most car rental places at LAX pick you up directly. midway makes you take this bus, operated by the airport, which stops at every terminal and then brings you to a random area which then you get off and then finally head to the rental location. once there, they have no bathroom, and the line moves super slowly. better to spend another $50 per day to avoid this hassle.

Pickup and return of the rental car to the CVG Cincinnati airport was superb. Returning a car quickly is so important with the pressure of getting it done before the flight time. The staff I worked with at CVG was excellent both in picking up the car and returning it.

Car was good and price was great , although the waiting times to pick up the car was quite high since only one person was working. In addition the worst part was when the drop off occured where there was no physical person and the car park was full and there was no space to park the car safely, we called the appropriate number but there was no people speaking proper English to guide us had to leave the car in a bad way parked which stressed us as all sorts of issues could occur, can expect one floor of car park to accommodate all the rentals.

Loved the 2024 Subaru Outback and a dream car to drive with 7k miles. Last rental with Alamo 2 weeks ago was a old Malibu with too many miles and should be retired. First experience with Dollar and a 10 star everyone was so nice!

This would have been a good experience apart from two things: 1) the repeated pestering texts and e-mails insisting that I check in online in advance, which I tried to do but the system didn't work; and 2) HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I waited for over half an hour to speak to someone in India who was hard to understand and then in the end said she couldn't do anything to change my pick-up time because I had booked through a third party service, and gave me a non-functional phone number to try to reach the airport desk. What a pity. The car was fine and the airport pick-up staff were fine. But I will never use Dollar again because that company wouldn't let those people just do their job.

When I placed the order for this car on CarRentals.com, I was charged $40.95 which was described as: "the total cost of this reservation". When I went to pick up the car at Hertz, I was told that the vehicle license fee and taxes were not included - and was charged an additional $6.74. This information should be fully disclosed at the time the reservation is made.

Reserved a Jeep Cherokee type vehicle. 3rd party CarRental.com booked an electric car. I had to pay extra at the counter to get the type of vehicle I reserved. The vehicle I rented has significant wheel noise. No one is ever interested in listening or addressing the detailed issues

I loved the car loved the easy pick up and return of the rental car. The airport made it very self explanatory to get the car back with white letters on the road to direct you back to the rental car return. Made me smile. Horrible - do not book with NextCar. They denied my car insurance because I was not the primary policyholder. I have full coverage insurance, so there was no logistical reason to deny it. The supplemental insurance cost as much as the rental itself. I was never told at the time of booking that I would be forced to use their insurance if I wasn’t the primary policyholder. I was only told so 24 hours out from my booking. I’m actively trying to get a refund for this.

A representative never showed up at the airport to meet me, they never tried to contact me to say there was an issue, and the phone number given never worked. I called 24 times throughout the day. I ended up renting from Europcar at the counter for three times the price. I think it's a SCAM. I was in Vienna.

I couldn’t find the location and no shuttle to the location of the car. The website description makes it seem as though it’s the airport area. It is not. Tried to call the facility but no answer. Ended up getting a rental from hertz which provides transportation to car rental area. DONT PURCHASE FROM THIS VENDER.

I had to pay so much extra because apparently the insurance I had didn’t cover Expedia/economy car rental despite said insurance covering every other car rental agency. So either I was lied to or it’s just economy and I’m never going to rent from them/expedia again. I was also given a number to call travel guard which is not able to cover after the rental purchase was made. The car was also full of dog hair. In total this rental cost me 200$ instead of the 40 +30 I paid for the rental and insurance initially. Huge rip off. Took forever and is so inconvenient to get to without a car! Insane. Never again.

Took a long time to get the car. First of all, there shuttle only comes to remote rental car center near LAX. You need to take a bus to get there. Then you take there shuttle to get to their office. It took me almost an hour to get the get and be on my way. There were two agents working the desk and they were really helpful but, the whole process was slow. I had to wait a long time.

Total rip off like priceline who mentioned Unlimited kms on the invoice and then refused to refund me. They started showing me terms and policies when the Invoice clearly shows Unlimited kms. Spolied my trip. Lost my money and had to book another place. Waste of time. Terrible experience.

We booked a car for $140 for 6 days. I checked several times to make sure the car rental was at the airport, not with a shuttle. When we arrived, and finally found an attendant for U-Save amongst the crowd when you exit SJD (Cabo) airport, he indicated we would take a shuttle to the car rental office. We still waited 5-10 minutes for the shuttle. When we finally arrived, they said there were mandatory insurance fees of nearly $60/day, which would bring my total closer to $500–that’s more than triple the price I had reserved with. That was supposed to be the total cost. After much back and forth, they said there’s nothing they could do and that this 3rd party insurance is required in Mexico. We were almost going to agree, about to start the paperwork, then they said they would have to charge $1500 as a deposit for incidentals. This was NOT a hold, this was going to be a charge that they would refund. I’ve rented cars before and I understand a deposit for incidentals. But this amount seemed outrageously high, especially in light of the forced insurance. We decided to skip the car rental altogether and just used taxis/Uber to get around. It cost us much much less, and definitely less headache. I would never ever book with U-Save ever again. And generally be wary of renting a car in Cabo for that matter, as they just try to impose additional costs and triple the anticipated cost.

I was able to choose the exact car I wanted and was even able to reserve a cooler and boogie board to use for the week. The car was in like-new condition. The free shuttle was convenient, fast and the drivers were nice. The location was a little bit further from the airport, but it wasn't a problem.

It was the first time we rented via Turo, so I don't have a good base reference to compare in general, and can only compare to car rental experiences with commercial fleets (like Budget or Enterprise). In general it was okay -- we made it to where we were going and back, with no major issues. It's doable. However, there were some "surprises" where things didn't quite got as we expected: * We made rental reservation with expectation that we're picking up at the airport. When we got there, it turned out that the car is not at the airport, and the address given to us turned out to be what seemed to be Portland's airport Fire Rescue Tower (where, obviously, we can't even walk to or be at). We called the owner, and turned out that the car is at some house that's "not far" from the airport, and gave us new address. So additional expense of taking Uber/Lyft to get to the car (and apparently that address exists in two neighboring towns, and somehow Uber/Lyft took us first to the wrong one, so we had to take another ride, but that's not a Turo issue, just more expense as a consequence of car not being at the airport as promised). * When we got there, we called the owner to get the keys: "-- Keys are under front door's floormat. -- Nope, they're not there. -- Then try mailbox? -- Yes, they're there." The owner wasn't there, which is okay to do this all remote, but would be nicer if owner was in general "on top of things" such as where the car is and where it is expected to be picked up, where exactly are its keys, etc. * Then owner requested that prior to return we take the car to be washed and cleaned inside and out. We neither planned on looking for car detailing places in Portland, nor for time that it would take away from sightseeing, nor for extra substantial expense it would be. We pushed back and the owner backed off saying that he'll let it go due to confusion with pickup location (and apparently he didn't send some email that he was supposed to send, or something along those lines). * And while the car wasn't too dirty, it wasn't clean to begin with (which made detailing request that more amusingly odd). Crumbs on floor and seats and luggage compartment. Worst part was that windshield was dirty on the inside that was minor unpleasant at daytime, but as driving progressed into night time, it was quite significant as it was blurring lights and affected visibility substantially. * We also added additional driver thru Turo and let the owner know. The owner requested that we send him picture of drivers license directly to him. We refused (as it didn't seem right, given that Turo is the one that manages that aspect) and he backed off. * Of course, additional expense of Uber/Lyft after return drop-off as we weren't dropping it off at the airport as originally planned. So all in all we probably spent additional $50-60 in Uber/Lyft for getting to and from cars location instead of it being in the airport, and lost about 3+ hours for dealing with additional unplanned travel. The rest was okay. Car drove fine and didn't give any problems.

The agent was not at the airport on the day of pickup. He told me the reason was that he had called me a day before and I had not answered, which is not true as I have the call logs and haven't received any call/sms/email. Then proceeded to tell me that most of people don't read T&C and that I had to pay 500 EUR insurance for 4 days if I wanted the car, on top of other fees. I am pretty sure something like this would stand out in the invoice, not hidden and nothing to do with T&C because this company would then have much bigger problems than scam sales. I raised a dispute for service not provided, scam offer change. Never again.

I was a little wary about going with a local car rental agency -- I've gotten cars that weren't clean or smelled smoky. Black & White were extremely polite, professional and prompt. I was picked up in an impeccably clean Suburban, and the car I got (Toyota Corolla) was very clean and worked well. As a female, some of these car rental agencies don't feel safe and seem sketchy, but this agency was not one of them. I would 100% recommend them again, and I will definitely see if they have a car for me the next time I need a car from LAX.

They were dreadful. We didn't want a shuttle connection from the airport, but the Kayak info said they were AT Wellington Airport. They were actually in a very small place two and a half kilometres away. They were open only certain hours and when I finally got to speak to a person they denied anyone else had complained and , refused a refund, and blamed the misinformation on the third-party, QEEQ. I would have to approach them for a refund.

I called to find out where the office was and was told it was at the airport terminal. In fact it wasn’t there and we had trouble finding address on the instructions. When we finally got there, there was nothing there – no office, no sign. We kept calling the phone number and it took nearly 2 hours to get our car. The car was filthy. Qverall the whole experience was terrible and I will never use Yesaway again!

This company is a prime example of how NOT to conduct business, and I strongly urge anyone considering renting from them to think twice and avoid this nightmare at all costs. Let me start by saying that "Right Cars" has absolutely no regard for their customers' well-being or financial security. When I arrived at their rental office, ready to pick up my supposedly affordable 50 euros car, I was greeted with an outrageous demand: a whopping 650 euros as a deposit. Are they out of their minds? It's beyond comprehension how they can justify such an exorbitant amount for a car that is worth a fraction of that deposit. As if their greed wasn't enough, "Right Cars" shamelessly refused to refund or provide any reasonable alternatives. Instead, they presented me with an ultimatum: pay an additional 80 euros for insurance or fork over a mind-boggling 500 euros as a deposit for a vehicle that should be barely worth the initial rental cost. This level of exploitation and disregard for customer satisfaction is simply disgraceful. It's clear that "Right Cars" Car Rental thrives on taking advantage of unsuspecting customers. Their outrageous deposit requirements and unwillingness to accommodate reasonable requests are not only unethical but also bordering on fraudulent practices. In conclusion, "Right Cars" Car Rental is an absolute disaster of a company. They epitomize everything that is wrong with the car rental industry. Save yourself the headache, frustration, and financial burden by choosing a reputable car rental company that actually values its customers.
